Born Delila F. Barnes, September 16, 1849, in Whitley county, Indiana. Growing up there and began teaching school. She was married to A. D. Finley December 7, 1876, and in February they moved to Johnson county, Iowa, Mr. Finley's home. November 1884, they moved to Franklin county Kansas and in January 1898, the moved to LeRoy, where Mr. Finley was in th lumber business.
She leaves her husband, and four children, two daughters and two sons. Nellie the youngest died two years ago.
