Mrs. Louis Stangel, 88, of 18233 Mirro Rd., Two Rivers, died Saturday evening, June 6, at Two Rivers Community Hosptial.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. The Rev. Joseph Lutheran will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Stangel, nee Barbara Dworak, was born Oct. 19, 1892, at Norman, daughter of the late Wenzel and Margaret Hula Dworak. She was married to Louis Stangel Nov. 7, 1916, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Norman. He preceded her in death Jan. 28, 1981. Mrs. Peterik (sic) resided on the homestead farm in the Town of Two Creeks with her son, Norbert. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and an honorary member of the Rosary Society.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Norbert and Marion of 18233 Mirro Rd., Two Rivers, Leonard and Mildred of Two Rivers and Melvin and Donna of 3315 Zander Rd., Two Rivers; two brothers, Edward Dworak of Denmark and Ambrose Dworak of Manitowoc, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A daughter, three grandchildren, a great grandson and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 4 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m.
