Doris Mae Kaiser, age 74, of 1819 11th St., Two Rivers, departed her worldly home to be with her husband, Charlie, on February 21, 2014. Charlie preceded her in death on December 28, 2011.
Doris was born on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1938, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Gehrke) Wilson. Doris attended St. Mark's Grade School and Washington High School in Two Rivers. She worked as a waitress for many years and also worked in the meat department at Sentry and later worked at Evan's Department Store for 10 years before retiring in 2001. Doris married Charles Kaiser on April 19, 1973, in Manitowoc. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and also other children for years between working out of the home.
Doris is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Marilyn (Virgil) Schleis of Tisch Mills; four sons and two daughters-in-law: Mark (Ann) Lambert of Casco, Steve (Lisa) Kaiser of Green Bay, Shawn Kaiser and his special friend, Kristi, of Fond du Lac, and Joseph Kaiser and his special friend, Kari, of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Rebecca Schleis of Chicago, Ill., Matthiew Schleis of Milwaukee, Mikaela Schleis of Green Bay, Joshua and Tara Lambert of Casco, Hailey Kaiser of Two Rivers and Lucas Kaiser of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by three sisters: Roberta (Dave) Tice of Two Rivers, Joan (James) Taylor of Two Rivers and Corrine (Dale) Pekarek of Kewaunee; six brothers: Norman (Lana), Richard (Sharon), Joseph (Audrey), John (Sherry), Gerald (Mary Lou) and Ronald Wilson; one brother-in-law: Gerald Kaiser and three sisters-in-law: Marion Domnitz of Two Rivers, Diane (James) Dorner of Luxemburg and Doris Dotson of Green Bay. In addition to her parents: Joseph and Agnes and her husband: Charles, she was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph and Helen Kaiser; one sister: Shirley Doubek; a sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law: LaVerne and Donnlyn Konop and Shelly Domnitz.
According to Doris' wishes, there will be no funeral services held. Burial of her cremated remains will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tisch Mills, at a later date.
Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Kaiser family with arrangements.
