Nita Fatheree was born July 19, 1956 in Monroe, LA to her mother, Grace Lasyone Acreman, and she passed from this life October 24, 2020 following a extended illness. Nita had a huge heart and had a great impact on so many lives. Nita loved her family, spending time with her grandkids, cooking, crocheting, and occasionally slipping off to the casino. Nita was loving, kind, caring, and a hard worker. She was often hard-headed and didn’t mind telling you what she thought. She was preceded in death by her mother and her granddaughter, Madalyne Garrett, as well as a special friend, Sylvia Lightsey.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Shannon Fatheree (Jennifer), Jessica Carr (Justin), and Betty Warren (Rob); three sisters: Vickie McNemar, Sandra Hyde (Hotshot), and Linda Guerrero; grandchildren: Trenton Garrett, Katelyne Warren, Anaklair Warren, Kallie Jones, Hannah Thaxton, Jeffery Varnell, Braxton Stowe, and Ana Kate Carr; great-grandchildren: River Denison and Olivia Denison.
