Mr. James Garnett Dean, 74, of Louisville, died October 13, 1994 at Mt. Holly Nursing Home in Louisville. Born April 12, 1920 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Harry Lee and Josephine Lapkin Dean. He was a retired employee of General Electric Appliance Park and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include: three sisters; Mrs. Denver (Irene) Wilson, Harrodsburg, Mrs. Aaron (Joyce) Kessler, Louisville and Mrs. Andy (Faye) Angaitis of Dayton, OH; one brother, Walter F. Dean, Kingsport, TN. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Funeral services for Mr. Dean were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, at the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home in Louisville with Dr. Charles E. Burgin officiating. Burial was in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
