Calvin Diemer, age 90 of Beaverdam went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 24, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Jeanette; his children: Ron and Gail Diemer, Randy and Mary Diemer, Ed and Darlene Diemer, Doug and Nancy Diemer and Sandy and Chuck McCallum; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Geneva Diemer and Ruth Diemer; brother-in-law Andrew and Mary Machiela.
Cal proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean war. He was a member of Beaverdam Christian Reformed Church. Cal was a lifelong farmer and retired from Keeler Brass where he worked for 44 years.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Beaverdam Christian Reformed Church, 5166 64th Ave., Hudsonville. Interment will be in Beaverdam Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hudsonville Christian School or Unity Christian High School.
