Billings Gazette, Oct. 8, 2018:

Leo Ebach passed away Oct. 5, 2018, at Butterfly homes assisted living in Billings. Leo was born Nov., 27 1928, in Linton, North Dakota to parents Ben and Eva Ebach. He was the 5th born of 10 kids.

Leo moved to Billings, in 1941. A few years later he met the love of his life Dorothy Hiber. They married in March of 1950, and had two wonderful daughters Debbie and Dana who were an important part of his life.

Leo worked various jobs over the years. He was a Rancher, Farmer, Construction worker and finally retired from the Billings Bench Water Association as a Ditch Rider. Leo's passion was being around horses. He loved participating at rodeos with Dorothy and his daughters. Later in his life he enjoyed watching western movies, working in his yard, fixing small engines and listening to Lonnie Bell on the radio.

Leo is preceded in Death by his parents Ben and Eva, wife Dorothy and daughter Dana Buechler. He leaves behind for sisters. Leo is survived by daughter Debbie (Ray Nafts), grandsons Jason (Melanie Nafts), Cody (Hailey Nafts), Tanner (Bobbie Buechler), granddaughter Alyssa (Kevin Kavanaugh), great grandchildren Mason, Luke, Reece, Brooklyn, Brett, Parker, Carter, Silas, and McCoy.

Leo will be missed immensely by his family and very special friend Robert Lester of Billings. A special thanks to Bella Terra and Butterfly home for the loving care that they provided for Leo. A private family graveside memorial will be held.
