Mr. Raymond Adolphson of Coalmont and Miss Ella McCue of Dudley were united in marriage in Cumberland, Md., on July 1, 1931. We join in wishing the young couple all good things of life and a happy married life.

Raymond A. Adolphson, 59, of Dudley died Saturday, September 26, 1970 at 11:30 a.m. in the Presbyterian Hospital at Pittsburgh where he had been a patient since June 7 of this years.

Born November 13, 1910 at Altoona, he was a son of Robert A. and Carrie (Bradley) Adolphson. He was united in marriage to Ella (McCue) Motich of Oxnard, Calif., who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Ann Vertrees of Sunland, Calif.; five grandchildren; and these brothers and sister: Elliott Adolphson, Dudley, Robert A. Adolphson, Jr., Saxton and Mrs. Chester McCue, Dudley. One son preceded him in death.

The deceased was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the VFW at Saxton.

During his lifetime he had worked as a coal miner.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, at 2 p.m. from the Masood funeral chapel, Saxton. The Rev. Robert P. Raycroft will officiate and interment will be made in the Protestant Cemetery at Dudley. Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 7 p.m. today and until the hour of the services on Tuesday.
