Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home for W. Earl Amos, 75, of Rockport, who died early Thursday at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.

Burial will be in Limestone Hill Cemetery.

Born in Rockport, he was a son of the late James and Mary Sellers Amos. he was a farmer, a mamber of Rockport United Methodist Church and was a lifelong resident of the Rockport Community.

Survivors include his wife, Cora Knotts Amos; one son Howard Glenn of Indianapolis, Ind.; three daughters, Nina Hofmann of New England, Fern Eaton of Columbus, O., and Ruth Russell of Huntington; three brothers, J. Lloyd and Richie, both of Parkersburg and Blaine of Silverton; two sisters, Eunice Wigal of Belleville and Olive Florence of Lowell, O.; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home.
