James J. "Jim" O'Donnell, age 77, retired Msgt United States Air Force and
KAKE Channel 10 Chief Meteorologist for 26 years, passed away, Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Jim was born October 12, 1929 in New York City, New York to
John and Margaret (O'Brien) O'Donnell. Visitation with the family present will be in the Garden Chapel of Watson Reflection Pointe on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
and Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.,
Calvary United Methodist Church. Military Honors to follow at Resthaven
Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Marilan O'Donnell; Son, David
(Melinda) O'Donnell of Olathe, Kansas; Daughter, Stephanie (Kevin) Reffner of
Wichita; Sisters, Sue Goldberg of Greenville, NY; Margie Klages of Chestertown,
NY; Ann Nigro of Pittsburgh, PA, 6 grandchildren. Memorial donations are
suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202, and
Muscular Dystrophy Association, 8100 E. 22nd St. N., Bld. 2100-1, Wichita,
