She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2006.
While she had had significant health problems, she became critically ill over the weekend and was unable to recover.
Carolyn was known for her ability to talk with anyone, her generosity, and her being "second mom" to many of her children's friends.
Carolyn is survived by her children David Miescke, Gaynelle Holden, Rhonda Miescke, Mike Miescke, Linda Howard, and Lee Miescke. She is also survived by her sons-in-law Hank Holden and Perry Howard and daughters-in-law, Judy Miescke and Aspen Morgan. Additionally, her grandchildren are Heath Holden, Taner Simmons, Janise Miescke, Katie Howard, Megan Howard, Emily Howard, Naomi Morgan, and Lee Miescke.
She was preceded in death by her children, Janise Miescke Johnson (1979), Mark Erick Miescke (2002), and her husband Ralph Miescke just twelve days ago.
A memorial service is scheduled in honor of Carolyn at 2 PM on Friday, June 16th at BridgeWay church, 8556 E. Warren Avenue, Denver, CO 80231. Please join us at the reception immediately following the service at the same facility.
