Mrs. Jemima Hodgson DEAN was born Nov 13, 1849, departed this life June 25th 1927, she leaves to mourn her departure, their union was blessed with ten children, the husband and one son whom preceeded her in death and nine children still survive, Mrs. W.L. CRIPPEN, Mrs. S. J. WHITE, L. B. DEAN, H. C. DEAN, Mrs R. RIPPEE, Mrs. W. J. TRIPP, Mrs. L. HANEY, Mrs. Effie STOUT, Mrs I. J. DEAN. Mrs. DEAN was converted at an early age and united with the Baptist church, during these years she lived a consistent christian life and was always interested in the kingdom work, she was also a great lover of home and her Lord, was much interested in the salvation of her children. During the last years of her life she suffered much, bore it patiently, and was always resigned to the will of the Lord. May God give us more such mothers.
The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church June 28th, by Rev. Arthur D Kelly and the body laid to rest in the Mansfield cemetery. A good mother has gone, but will never be forgotten.
