Mrs. Auxier dies in Nebraska.
Mother of Paintsville woman dies last Thursday.
Mrs. E.E. Auxier died at 10 o'clock last Thursday morning, 25 Feb at her home in Dawson, Nebraska. Mrs. Auxier had been in bad health for the past several months, and her death had been expected for several days. She was the mother of Mrs. Garland H. Rice of Paintsville. Mrs. Rice and her daughter, Miss Mary Grace Rice were called to Dawson a few weeks ago and remained at the bedside of their mother and grandmother until the end came. Funeral services were held at the Auxier home at Dawson at 2:30 last Sunday afternoon. Burial was made at Dawson. Besides Mrs. Rice of Paintsville, she is survived by another daughter and two sons, all of whom reside in Nebraska. E.E. Auxier is a member of the Auxier family of the Big Sandy Valley. The family is prominent in the social and business life of Dawson. The many friends of Mrs. Rice in Paintsville sympathize with her in the loss of her mother.
