Bruechert, Terry L.

Terry L. Bruechert, age 60, of 3215 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Hospital with John by her side after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer.

Terry was born August 17, 1954 in Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Hazel (Ficks) Steinke. Terry was employed at Hamilton's for many years where she met the love of her life, John Bruechert. She then later went on to marry him at the Lincoln Park Field House in Manitowoc on June 30, 1990. Terry enjoyed making arts and crafts with her husband John in their craft business, Johnny Crafts. She also worked in the Craft Department at Evans Department Store in Two Rivers. She affectionately known as Grandma "Teddy" by all that new her. Terry loved camping with her family at Timber Trails Campground in Algoma.

Survivors include her husband: John Bruechert, Two Rivers; one daughter and son-in-law: Caroline and Scott Kikkert, Beaver Dam; one son: Paul Cannon, Manitowoc; a special daughter Chrystal (Jim) Clark; five grandchildren: Alex , Jack, Katie, Noah, Ryan; five special grandchildren: Jared, Paige, Danielle, Victoria and Isabella; brothers and sisters: Gloria (Paul) Graupner, Richard Steinke, all of Taus; Nancy (Stan) Surk, Menasha; Kathy (Donald) Graupner, Taus; Charles Jr. (Cathy) Steinke, Oshkosh; Dawn Steinke, Maple Grove, Ken Steinke (fiancee Jenny), Chilton; brothers-in-law: Jerry (Sue) Bruechert, Bob (Ruby) Bruechert, Dennis (Merry) LeClair, all of Two Rivers; her former spouse, John Cannon; and her pen pal Sandy, Michigan. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Barbara LeClair; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Winnie Bruechert, a niece, Misty and a nephew, David.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014, in the Community Room at Mueller Manor, 3215 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
