Adela Tupa, 88, 110 Cherry St., died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 1995, in the East Grand Forks Good Samaritan Center.
Adela Anna Kerian was born Dec. 8, 1906, near Grafton, N.D., the daughter of Frank and Anna (Kouba) Kerian. She attended school in Oakwood, N.D., and married Frank J. Tupa June 16, 1931, in Veseleyville, N.D. They farmed near Veseleyville until 1949, when they moved to Minto, N.D., and to Grand Forks in 1984.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Margaret A. (Mrs. John) Meagher, Thompson, N.D., and Eva M. (Mrs. Charles) Fjeld, Anoka, Minn.; sons, David F., Golden Valley, Minn., John J., Thompson, Edward J., Dublin, Ohio, and Clarence M., Bismarck; 25 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and five sisters.
Services:10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Forks.
Visitation:5 to 7 p.m. Friday, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, in the Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel, South Washington Street, and one hour before services in the church.
Burial:St. Luke's Cemetery, Veseleyville.
