Whitworth died at the scene about 10:30 p.m. of multiple injuries, said R.D. Jones, a deputy Jefferson County coroner.
She had been headed southbound alongside a man on another motorcycle when she lost control and rear-ended a Geo Tracker, police said.
Whitworth was thrown from her motorcycle. The other motorcyclist was not injured, nor was the driver of the Geo.
Whitworth was not wearing a helmet, police said.
