Richard Love Yarbro age 96, passed away peaceful Sept. 24th, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas with his son by his side. He was born July 31, 1911 in Baird, Texas and was a long time resident of El Paso. He was preceded in death by his wife Johnny of 44 years and his sister Meda Earl Ward. He is survived by Richard (Rusty) Yarbro and wife Ann, grandson Matt (Kathleen); granddaughter Ashley; great; granddaughter Bethany Rose; sister Betty Jo Keene; niece Betty Kay Trotter and family; and special friends Janie, Ana and Marlene Banks. He retired as assistant chief of police of the El Paso police department and from the El Paso public school system. He was a WWII veteran and a member of the Masonic lodge for over 65 years where he held the 32nd degree. He was a member of Park Hills Christian Church. Special thanks to Fedencio and Rosemary Bustillos their care in his last days. Richard was a kind and gentle man to his end on earth and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Graveside service will be held at Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at 10 a.m., at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO THE CARE OF KASTER-MAXON & FUTRELL FUNERAL HOME, 8817 Dyer Street.
