William Piersol (1749 - 1848)
and his wife
Grace Cope Piersol (1760 - 1854)
William was the son of Abraham Piersol
and Grace was the daughter of John Cope.
They came from Chester County, PA
to Fayette County, PA in approximately 1781
and settled on a tract of land near here.
