James A. Stowers, a former resident of Mathews, Alabama, but now of West Palm Beach, Florida, died at his home there the morning of Friday, December 14, 1951.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Annie Lou (nee Pugh) Stowers; two sons, Joseph H. Stowers of West Palm Beach and Capt. Fred P. Stowers of March Air Force Base California; four brothers, George W., Thomas M. and Clay Stowers of Montgomery and Joseph H. Stowers of Haines City, Florida; one sister, Mrs. E. F. Alford of Montgomery.

Services were held from Mizell-Simon Funeral Home in West Palm Beach on Monday, December 17, 1951. Burial in the West Palm Beach Cemetery.
