Nancy Ann Akers Gallimore, 59 of Radford, passed away Friday, September 28, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1948 the daughter of Oscar R. Akers and the late Edith Crawford Akers. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Gallimore. Survivors include her husband, Hiley Lee Gallimore of Radford; her father Oscar R. Akers of Christiansburg; her precious sister Peggy Akers Owens and her husband, Ernest of Christiansburg; special "granddaughter", Miranda C. Harden and "great-granddaughter", Meghan Grace Harden, both of Danville; special little godson, Michael Bolt of Dublin; her loving and special friends Kathie Quesenberry, Wanda Heslep and Mae Cox; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was a precious and dear person to all those who knew her and she will be surely missed. Special thanks to all her nurses and doctors at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. David Jones and the Rev. J. P. Hale officiating. Interment will follow in the Capt. George Quesenberry Cemetery in Indian Valley. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday September 30, 2007, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O.
