Winona Faye "Grant" Vaughan, 85 of Dover passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Conway Baptist Health. She was born to Ermil and Rose Turner Grant on May 7, 1935 in Dover.

She was a graduate of Dover High School in 1953. She played saxophone in the band, basketball and was a cheerleader. In 1954 she and her high school sweetheart were married in Moreland Arkansas. She was a lifetime member of Hatley Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter. She worked as office manager for International Shoe Company for 13 year. She retired from Child Development Inc. and Arkansas State University after 50 years of service. She was the first person in the state to receive her Child Development Associates Degree.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Don Grant.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Leon Vaughan; Daughters, Vickie Harris, Rose Vaughan-Dover; grandchildren, Princess & Eric Wheeler, Dustin & Holly Dover, Jerad & Shay Dover; great grandchildren, Madalynn Wheeler, Lydia Wheeler, Grant Dover; brother, John & Nootsie Grant and several nieces, nephews and other family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hatley Missionary Baptist Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.

The graveside service will be 10am Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Mask are required. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
