Born Francesco Cantone in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Italy in 1900, the 1st child of Gaetano Cantone and Carmela DeNicola Cantone. His siblings were Marta (Martha)Cantone, Rosa Cantone Massa, Antonio (Tony) Cantone and Gaetana (Joanne)Cantone. He married Adelina Maria (Mary) Galasso and had 4 children: Guy E. Cantone, Frances M. Cantone Ford, Millie Cantone and Josephine Cantone. He owned Cantone's Bakery in Watertown for many years.
