She was the daughter of John Allen Perrine and Sarah A. Sunderland Perrine, of Princeton, NJ. It was there, on Sept 8,1844, that Elizabeth married Daniel Scotten. They had one daughter.
I have added a small bio for Daniel below as FAG maintains his memorial without one.

Daniel had a tobacco company in Detroit and in 1859 hired his "drifting"nephew Oren Scotten. Oren did much to improve the company and by 1887 they were both millionaires. Oren's family became benefactors of many in Detroit and is particularly associated with the Fort St. Church.
Oren and his wife Mary Clark Macgregor are buried in Sec. J. They are the parents of other children buried with them.

" Daniel Scotten, a wealthy retired tobacco manufacturer Of Detroit, died last evening from heart affection, aggravated by his extreme age, which was eighty years. He retired from business only a short time ago, when the Scotten tobacco plant of this city, of which he was the organizer, was absorbed by the Continental Tobacco Company. Mr. Scotten was born at Great Yarmouth, England. on Dec. 11, 1819. In 183G his family emigrated to this country and settled in Palmyra, NY. . . .
