Inscription

A restful grave you dug here
To lie quietly next to you Wife
and from your Sons you backed away in the middle of your life
you worked so hard and you sacrificed your soul
From early in the morning you worked so hard
and in the evening you drank from the well
Talmud books were your passion
the Beth Hamedrosh Ha Gadol (the Great Shul) you didn't leave
you carried your beliefs
and you spent your life
the tent of torah was your darling
and to raise it's foundations you really liked
Forever your good name they will remember
Klonemus son of rabbi Shaul (Saul) Hartman
Passed away Chaf Alef Shevat (21 Shevat 5674)
May his memory be blessed forever.
