TYBEE ISLAND - Mrs. Mollie Vera Cobb Burford, 91, of Tybee Island, GA, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Hospice of Savannah after an extended illness. Mrs. Burford was preceded in death by her parents J.Q. Cobb, Sr. and Annie Moore Cobb, her husband B.A. Burford, Jr. and sons B.A. Burford,III and John Robert Burford. Survivors include daughters, Delores Horne, Deirdre Burford (AJ), sons Rufus Burford, Larry Burford (Judy), Doug Burford (Angie), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2007 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia. Internment will follow.
