Jacob Matthew Stevens, 18, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away as a result of a car accident on Saturday, March 23, 2019.

Jacob was born in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Michael Stevens of Winchester, Virginia and Laura Stevens of Stephens City, Virginia. He attended Sherando High School and graduated from James Wood High School, Class of 2018. Jacob worked at the Home Depot Distribution Center. He was a member of the Red Lion Wrestling Club and Sherando Varsity Wrestling Team. Jacob enjoyed the outdoors and loved working on cars, especially Honda Civics. He loved scary movies, but his all-time favorite movie was “Pulp Fiction”. Jacob loved his son, Nathan, with all of his heart and was an amazing father. His girlfriend, Ashlyn, was the love of his life and he was very much a family man.

Surviving with his parents is his son, Nathan Matthew Stevens of Stephens City, Virginia; brother, Michael Paul Stevens, II, and sister, Jillian Rose Stevens both of Stephens City, Virginia; aunts and uncles, Julie Stewart (Rob) of Virginia, Elizabeth Stevens Whitney (Christopher) of Richmond, Virginia, and Daniel John Stevens of Rock Hill, South Carolina; maternal grandparents, Gary and Susan Peer of Winchester, Virginia; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Kathleen Stevens of Richmond, Virginia; and numerous cousins.
