She married M.V. Franklin in 1946, and together they farmed land at Crooked Creek, and at McNab School House in Lyon County, before moving to Cadiz, where Alice oversaw the daily operations of their large beef cattle and row crop farm located in the Montgomery area of Trigg County. She was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raybon Aldridge and Sammy Aldridge; and a sister, Ponney Walker.
She is survived by her son, Jackie (Debbie) Franklin of Cadiz; two grandsons, Corey (Jessica) Franklin of Louisville, and Caleb Franklin (fiance' Rebecca Clark) of Cadiz; and her devoted companion, Gary Jones of Cadiz.
