FRANCISCO (PANCHO) M. BALDERRAMA, Born October 4, 1937 in Chihuahua, passed away on September 28, 2007. Our father was a simple hardworking man who during his 69 years worked hard to get himself and his family ahead. From his beginnings as a Bracero to later as a truck driver for Little Wood Co., Cashway and Wholesale Lumber, he instilled in his family the perseverance to work hard to obtain the dreams we had. "Nothing comes about without hard work and dedication." He was a longtime resident of Fabens and a member of the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who were his pride, joy and his reason to keep trying. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Esperanza; his children, Francisco Jr., Martha, Patricia, Rita, daughter-in-law Veronica, son-in-law Javier; grandchildren Francisco Ramon, Michael, Brittany Anne, Cristina Marisela, and many loving and caring relatives and friends. We would like to thank the following doctors and facility for taking good care of our father during his long illness. Thank you Dr. Patricio Pazmino, Dr. Ediberto Soto-Cora, Dr. Erasto Cortes and everyone at Davita-East. The Balderrama Family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home East. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007 in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home East. We would like to request that donations be made in our father's name, in lieu of flowers, to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation. Please view Mr. Balderrama's online memorial tribute and send condolences at www.mem.com. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME EAST, 1460 GEORGE DIETER DR., EL PASO, TX. 79936 (915) 855-8881
