Roy Burcham, 91 died Monday, Aug. 23,2004. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Eleventh Street Baptist Church with Jes Stafford, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Bailey-Ware Funeral Home. Mr. Burcham was born May 10, 1913 to John and Salina Burcham in Latonia Ill. He married Laveda Burcham Sanderson on Sept. 9,1938, in Shamrock. Survivors include his wife: a daughter Virginia "Dixie" Thompson of Hydro, Oklahoma. Four grand children; five great grand children. Visitation will be between noon and 5p.m. Today and Thursday at Eleventh Street Baptist Church. This was posted in Amarillo Globe-News, Aug.25,2004
