Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Lewis Downs and Mrs. Mary Romine, both of Athens, Mrs. Boss Hill, Mrs. Dean Hobbs and Mrs. J. C. Woodfin, all of Elkmont, and Mrs. Chester McMunn of Anderson; two sons, Claude Davis and Andrew Lewis Davis Jr., both of Elkmont; 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Adams and Mrs. Luther Hargrove, both of Elkmont; a brother, Clarence Davis of Elkmont.
Mr. Davis was a member of the Presbyterian church.
