Son of William Albin and Amanda Robinson-Albin. Isaac Newton "Newt" Albin, was blind. He attended the Wyandotte School for The Blind, where he graduated. He became a real estate broker in Kansas. He was a lodger in the home of Lizzie Downs, a fellow student of the Wyandotte School for the Blind. They became close friends in their final years. They are buried side by side.
