Sadie Mae Abram was born on February 1, 1926 in Montgomery, Alabama, she passed away on September 28, 2019 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Sarah Green and her husband, Blumie Abram (Feb 13, 1912 to Feb 7, 1980). She spent countless hours with her loving and devoted niece, Rosa Lena Robinson, who preceded her in death. Family and friends gather today to reflect the significance of a life well lived.

Sadie accepted Christ at an early age, she attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan. Although she did not have any children of her own, she was a second mother and instrumental in raising nine great nieces and nephews. She also took under her wings a special great-great nephew, Ricky Morgan and was affectionately called "Mama Sadie."

Sadie was united in holy matrimony to the late Blumie Abram on Dec 26, 1979, and loved viewing the lakes during their fishing trips. She was an avid bingo and card player and loved winning the game. She was employed at Braeburn Nursing Home (currently Woodward Hills, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan) and was a passionate care giver.
