Cade Michael Frey, 18, of Farmersburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was born on March 16, 2002 in Vigo County to Robert Michael Frey and Jennifer Ann (Meier) Frey.

Cade was a 2020 graduate of Sullivan High School. He will be remembered for his goofy smile, his contagious laugh, his horrible jokes, his terrible singing, his sportsmanship attitude, and his love for his family and friends. Cade enjoyed racing Quarter Midgets and throwing massive whips on his dirt bike. Cade had the biggest heart for always helping others and that shows through his selfless decision to be an organ donor. Cade was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Don Meier, and paternal grandmother, Debbie Kass, who was also an organ donor.

Survivors include his father Robert Michael Frey, his mother Jennifer Ann (Meier) Vaught and her husband Chris, his paternal grandparents Joe and Karen Frey, maternal grandmother Sharon Meier, step-grandfather Mike Kass, sister Kaylyn Frey and her significant other Anthony Lafrate, brothers Justin and Jonathon Walker, step-brother Daric Pounds, step-sisters Kensie Aarnink, and Chloe, Preslee, and Rylee Vaught, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held in the Chapel at the Westlawn Cemetary in Farmersburg, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, with Pastor David Cox officiating. Visitation will be a drive thru due to the current pandemic conditions, at the Sullivan County 4-H Fairgrounds on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
