William Paul Lamberth, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Carter Family Cemetery, Mobley Loop Road, Stoneville with Pastor Ryan Burris officiating. You are welcome to visit the funeral home and pay your respects Saturday and Sunday. The family requests that you please remember social distancing and wear a mask when visiting.
William was born in Rockingham County to the late, Otha Paul and Maude Warf Lamberth and was a veteran of the United States Army. For 6 years he served his country and was in the Cuban Missile Crisis during that time. He was a member of Baptist Temple and was known as the “The Best Deacon” as he was always serving others. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Ann Williams Lamberth; son, Michael Paul Lamberth and sister, Laura Ann Lamberth.
Survivors are his son, Christopher Todd Lamberth; daughter-in-law, Cathy Lamberth; brothers-in-law, Dewey Lee “Pete” Harris, Jack Harrison and George Williams; sisters-in-law, Mary Lea Miller and Betty Williams and many nieces and nephews.
