On 29 March 1889 he married Alice Hull in Milton. To this union two children were born, Edna Louisa Jewett (28 September 1890 – 12 July 1964), of Milton Junction, and Charles Henry (21 February 1893 - 12 January 1973) of Chicago.
Mr. Jewett died Saturday, May 8, 1926, at the Wales Sanitorium, after a long illness. Mr. Jewett made a profession of religion early in life and took a deep interest in religious affairs. He was an attendant at the Milton Junction S. D. A. church. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Edna Shelton of Milton Junction, two sons, Fred of Whitewater, and Charles of Chicago, and two grandchildren, Junior and Loren Shelton, and many other relatives, friends, and business associates who held him in high esteem. Mrs. Jewett passed away several years ago.
Mr. Jewett lived most of his life in the state of Wisconsin, and for the past number of years resided in Milton Junction where he conducted a small manufacturing business in extracts and toilet goods.
Funeral services were held at his home in Milton Junction Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Elder A. W. Coon of the S. D. A. church officiating. Burial was made in the Milton Junction Cemetery
