Kathlyn J. Liebig age 88 of Tacoma, Washington passed away Sunday June 5th at Heartwood Extended Healthcare in Tacoma. Jean was born March 18, 1928 in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Clarence and Jennie Gunnerson. Jean attended Lutheran Bible Institute. Though Jean did not work, she did a lot of babysitting. Jean was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jean enjoyed going out for walks almost every day, loved doing word find puzzles, going to church, dancing, and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl of 60 years, and her two brothers Charles and Edward.
Jean is survived by her daughter Paula Barber (Bob) of Gig Harbor; Sons Edward and Clare of Tacoma, and Todd of Puyallup; Grandkids Roshele and Deaven, Scott, and Austin of Gig Harbor, Dawson of Puyallup, Andrea, and Amber; Brother Hanford (Norma) of Akron, Ohio and family friends Anita Goodell and Kathy Delin.
