Ray Everett Waybright, 81, of Graybill Road, Osterburg, died Monday, November 30, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Blair County.

Mr. Waybright was born in Alexandria Virginia on February 6, 1939, son of the late Everett P. and Helen M. (Armel) Waybright.

On June 19, 1976 Ray married M. Jane (Hoover) Waybright.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Mike husband of Trudy (Corle) Waybright, Alexandria, VA and Alum Bank; Son- Brian husband of Janice (Allison) Waybright, Osterburg; Son- Kevin husband of Robin (Cornell) Waybright, Fredricksburg, VA; Son- Eric husband of Karen (Howard) Waybright, Bedford; Daughter- Marie wife of Lorne Miller, New Paris; Sister- Jean Hazelip, Claysburg; Brother- William Waybright, Vandalia, MO; Brother- Wayne Waybright, Rehoboth Beach, DE; 14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews who he loved as his own. Ray was preceded in death by Brother- John Waybright and Sisters- Carol Williams and Lois Springer.

Ray drove over the road truck for 53 years for numerous companies and retired as an owner/operator. After a couple years of retirement he went back to the road driving bus for Bollman Charter Services which he thoroughly enjoyed until his illness.

Ray enjoyed chasing and watching trains, scenic road trips, spending time with all of his family and friends and relaxing with his beloved dog "Buddy".

Ray or as his trucking buddies called him "Cannonball" will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Funeral service held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.
Interment at Osterburg Community Cemetery.
