Doris Evon Phillips-Smith-King,43,of Camden, Arkansas died Saturday, November 25, 1989 at Saint Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, AR. Cookie, as she was known to all, was preceded in death by her parents, Blanton Phillips and Murene Z. McNatt-Betts-Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, P.D. King and daughter, Cheyanne Smith King of Camden. Also survived are step-sons, Danny King and David King of Camden and a step-daughter, Kimberly King-Taylor of Thibodaux, Louisiana; a brother, Lee Betts of Texarkana, TX; three sisters, Marie Betts-O'Keefe-Harris, Jean Phillips-Stinnett and Jeanette Phillips-Jarvis of Camden.
Mrs. King was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, at 2pm in the Proctor Funeral Home Chapel followed by a interment service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden. Proctor Funeral Home will be in care of the services.
