She went on to earn double majors from the University of South Dakota and then settled in the Twin Cities where she worked as a professional in the insurance industry for over 30 years.
Patti is preceded in death by her Mother (Mary Brockel), Father (Virgil Brockel), and her Sister (Peggy Brockel).
