McMINNVILLE
George A. Amos, 64, of Walla Walla, Wash., formerly a resident of McMinnville, died Sept. 3. He was born in Lynch, Neb., and came to Oregon in 1935. He lived here from 1969 to 1979, when he moved to Walla Walla. He was a truck driver and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Walla Walla. Survivors include his son, George J., Eugene; daughter, Karen, Albany; brother, Wayne, Yreka, Calif.; and sisters, Leona McCright and Lela Briggs, both of McMinnville. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Park here. Macy & Sons Mortuary here is in charge.
