Toms River resident Anna Saint Allen, whose daughter and son-in-law live in Point Pleasant, died peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, Sept. 22.

She was 73 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, N. Y., she was raised in Sorrento, Italy. She returned to the U. S.. when she was 13 and lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island, N. Y. before moving to Toms River 11 years ago.

Anna was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, and was treasurer of her AARP chapter in Toms River.

She was predeceased by her father, Gaetano; and her brother, Tony Miccio.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Howard; her son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Pam, of Kentucky; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bob Daber, of Point Pleasant; her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Rob Calabro, of Wall; her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Roselle Allen, of Beachwood; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Paul Velke, of Wall; her grandchildren, Tiffany and Jason Hollenback, Danielle and Nicole Allen, Bob and his wife Danielle Daber, Christina, Lisa and Daniel Daber, Kristin and her husband Adam Houlahan, Kimberly, Kayla, Robert and Ryan Calabro, Brittany and Dennis Allen, Scott, Mark, Valeri and Joey Velke; her great-grandson, Zachary; and her sister-in-law, Marie Miccio.

Arrangements were handled by the D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
