Jeanette B. Grob passed away peacefully "in the loving arms of Jesus and Mary" and her devoted children on June 3, 2007. Jeanette was born Aug. 24, 1927, in Bismarck, North Dakota, to Anton and Albina Knoll.

As a child her family moved to Kalispell, where she attended school, and eventually married Arnold Grob and together they had seven children.

In 1981 she moved to Spokane, where she lived since.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law Norm Dunn.

She is survived by her children, Dashia Bass and John, Kathy Azzinaro, Carol Dunn, Darlene Major, Arlene Hundahl and John, and Pamela Seim, all of Spokane, and Steven Grob of Longview, Washington. She is also survived by her sister, Loretta Kind, Highwood, Montana; and two brothers, Vernon Knoll of Kalispell, and Don Knoll of Rathdrum, Idaho; several nieces and nephews; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Jeanette spent her life as a homemaker, raising her children and working hard on the family farm. She dearly loved her family and her faith and truly was a loving and patient mother.

"A part of our hearts went with her, and we carry the most beautiful memories of our precious and loving 'honey mommy.'"

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" - Matthew 19:14.

A rosary was said on June 5 at Mount Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Spokane with a Requiem Mass held on June 6. Interment was at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home in Spokane.
