Gregory Monroe "Greg" Auman, age 67, of Asheboro died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Woodland Hill Center.
Mr. Auman was born September 7, 1953 in Randolph County to Truitt and Martha Auman.
Greg had a strong work ethic and retired as supervisor for the City of Asheboro water and sewer department after 20+ years of service. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed trips out west to elk hunt with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nance Auman and daughter, Kaci Erin Auman.
Greg is survived by son, Matthew Auman and wife Kelly of Robbins; daughter, Kati Auman Nelson of Asheboro; grandchildren, Levi Auman, Christian Auman and wife Alyssa, Eric Auman, Kassi Auman; brother, Larry Auman and wife Denise; sisters, Brenda Akins and husband John, Judy Beitzel and husband Sammy.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2020 from 12-12:50 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Garden.
