Mrs Bessie Gertrude Schele, wife of George A Schele, of 1218 Lafayette street, died this morning. She was 23 years of age. The cause of death was peritonitis. The young couple were married Jan 20 last. She leaves, besides her husband, a mother, Mrs John W Nelson; two sisters and thre brothers – Cecil, John and Frank Nelson, Mrs Henry Hamilton and Mrs Simon Stouder. Fort Wayne News- March 9, 1904
