Agnes Louise Frendo - Canario Hinton Wed -- At St Joseph's Catholic church at 11 am. on New Year's Eve, the marriage of Miss Agnes Louise Frendo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Paul Frendo of Olaa, to Canario Hinton of Hilo. son of Mr. and Mrs Frank Everett Hinton of Honolulu, Oahu, was performed by Father Lawrence Vaughn. Mr. Frendo gave his daughter in marriage. She was gowned in white satin detailed with long pointed sleeves and flowing train, A crown of orange blossoms held her finger-tip tulle veil and white cattleya and phalaenopsis orchids made up the bridal bouquet. Matron of honor, Mrs. Joaquin Andrade, wore a pink net gown trimmed with lace. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations and vanda orchids. and wore pink camellias in her hair. Miss Leonora Fernandez, gowned in yellow jersey, was the other attendant. Her flowers were lavender orchids and she wore yellow gladioli in her hair. John Harbottle stood as best man, while Robert Padgett was the usher. Mrs. Frendo chose a deep wine frock with silver sequins for her daughter's wedding. Her ensemble was accented with black accessories, including a fur trimmed hat. Mrs. Hinton was frocked in red wine with white accessories The reception was held at the Olaa home of the bride's parents with friends of the family assisting. The young couple are at home at Pukihae, after honeymooning In the Volcano district. For going away the bride wore an olive green suit with black accessories. The bride attended Hilo High school and Hilo Commercial college. She is secretary at Dr. Sexton's office. Mr. Hinton attended Hilo High and Iolani schools. He is owner and manager of the Magic Dance Studio in Hilo.
