Carrie Johanna Haskins passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on December 10, 2020.
Carrie was born August 11, 1943 in Eugene to Edwin and Margaret (Wolfe) Owens of Blachly, OR.
She worked as Head Secretary at Fairfield Elementary until retiring early at the age of 55.
She enjoyed her family, friends, the Oregon Coast, and watching sports. She especially enjoyed watching Oregon Ducks football and basketball.
Carrie is survived by her brother Leo Owens of Deadwood, sons Bryan Mitchell (Liz) of Estacada and Brad Mitchell (Kerri) of Eugene, grandchildren Kayla, Jordan, Drew, Ryan and Conner, and great-grandsons Saylor and Waylon.
Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, sister Denise, and great-granddaughter Evelyn.
As per her wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to Greenhill Humane Society.
