Here rest the remains of persons relocated from the San Joaquin County Hospital Cemetery in 1989. For further information, inquire at the cemetery office.

At the top of the left plaque: In the spaces in front of this memorial rest the remains of persons who were transferred from the San Joaquin County Cemetery in 1989. The original cemetery was located adjacent to San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, California. Records indicate the cemetery was used from 1880 to 1930. The cemetery was relocated in order to construct the sheriff's operations center and new jail complex. For additional information, please inquire at the office of this cemetery.
