MARK RICHARD BURTON, an El Paso native was called home on September 29, 2007. Mark was an Educator for the El Paso Independent School District, but his true calling was his work in art. He attended Fountain Valley Prep School, Colorado and held a BA from Simpson College, Iowa. He is survived by his father, Lewis Robert Burton, mother, Doris Ethel Burton and his children Jonathan Robert Burton and Sylvia Ann Washington. He leaves behind his grandchild Dominique Reese Washington and step-grandchildren, La Var, McKaylie and Avante Washington. He also leaves behind his sibling, Nancy Davis and his nephews Eric and Mark Davis. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home East Chapel.
