Agnes Heusser age 92, passed away at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle April 1, 2012. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born Agnes Lorene Maxwell on November 25, 1919 in Scott City, Kansas. She grew up with eight sisters and one brother. After graduating from high school Agnes attended Salt City Business School in Hutchinson, Kansas. In 1940 Agnes was hired as a secretary at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska where she stayed until 1945. Agnes later moved to Seattle, where she met Lucius Heusser. In 1948 they were married and spent 56 years together. Agnes is survived by her 3 sons Rick, Rob, Russ (Kathy), grandchildren Ian, Hans and Chris, sister's Doris, Billy Jean, Ursula, and Esther, and many nieces and nephews. She will be forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held on April 27th at 1:00 pm at the University Presbyterian Church in Seattle.
