Private services for Lester L. Seiger, 79, of Llewellyn, who died Tuesday morning in Pottsville Hospital will be held Friday at the convenience of the family from Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, 104 S. Fourth St, Minersville. The Rev. Charles Adami, Friedens Lutheran Church, Llewellyn, will officiate. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
Mr. Seiger was born in Donaldson, a son of the late Harry and Elizabeth McCoy Seiger.
He was a retired crane operator for Weiner Iron and Metal Pottsville.
He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church.
His wife, the former Ruth Neidhardt, died in 1985. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Spangler. Surviving are a daughter, Winifred Lemke, Lewellyn; two sons, Robert E. and Raymond both of Llewellyn; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren." From the Pottsville Republican, May 18, 1988, page 2
